Starting In Kitesurfing

No need for an excellent physical condition to enjoy the joys of kitesurfing. In this sport, everything is played with fingers and finesse. It is a sport with which one can age, which is not soliciting physically.

Contrary to popular belief, kitesurfers do not shoot in their arms. You use all your body to counterbalance the force of the wind via a harness, which hangs you on the wing. No need to be muscular therefore, which makes it a discipline that particularly suits women.  
 
 
To learn kitesurfing Zanzibar is not too demanding. Similar in paragliding, you start by learning the rules of safety and the bases of the piloting. A traction wing is operated with one or two fingers of each hand. During the first days of training, you learn to take off and land a wing. Then, you get familiar with the flight window and the placement of the wing in this space. You learn to hold the bar, to use the control and safety controls.

You also do some exercises of towed swimming. When all this is acquired, you pass the board to the feet and try to get out of the water with the traction wing: it is the famous waterstart.
