Treat Yourself To A Kitesurfing Course Before You Experience It!

Kitesurfing, also known as kiteboarding, is a combination of snowboarding, windsurfing, paragliding, surfing and wakeboarding. It is becoming the most exciting and fastest growing water sport ever. Kitesurfers have been sailing around the world’s beautiful beaches and perform massive jumps of up to 100 feet high with latest wakestyle tricks or surfing big waves – the thrill of kitesurfing is like nothing else.

It is an extreme sport that is hazardous to water sport lovers and therefore private kitesurfing courses are essential. Professional instructors will train surfers to overcome the problems and dangers that they may encounter while surfing.

But first and foremost, surfers should get familiar with:

-    Kitesurfing equipment

-    Harness techniques

-    Kite safety

-    Kite theory

-    Kite flying skills

-    Becoming comfortable with the kite

-    Kite launching and landing

-    Water starts with boards

-    Body dragging, water practice with kite

Subsequently, surfers will learn the basics in kite flying – site selection, wind direction and safety procedures for both land and water. Once the flying skills done on land, instructors will guide the surfers in practising body dragging, kite control in water, self rescue technique, launching and landing of kite.

Once these core skills developed, kitesurfers are up to solo performances.
